The saved baby of murdered pregnant woman Kelly Mary Fauvrelle is fighting for his life, she was eight months pregnant when she was stabbed to death on Saturday
The 26 year old mother was stabbed at a house in Raymead Avenue, Croydon and died at the scene, but her unborn baby was saved by emergency services.
A 29-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of murder and has both been bailed and still under investigation.
Stephan Alexander Simpson paid tribute on Facebook and said: ‘Words can’t describe the pain we’re feeling. You couldn’t have been a better sister, and I thank you for always being there for me, helping me whenever I needed it.
Her death is the 64th murder in London this year. The Mayor, Sadiq Khan tweeted on Saturday: ‘Violence against women has no place in our city, and horrific murders in the home like this show the scale of the problem we face.’ He added: ‘My heart goes out to this innocent child, and to the mother they have so tragically lost.’
